eDoing, from theory to practice
Work-based learning
THEWork-based learning meets the need for refined and realistic training for employees. The learning process involves experienced professionals and trainers responsible for building technical skills and monitoring and evaluating the candidate. However, this type of training suffers from a major deficiency: it does not take into account the “behavioral skills” aspect.
Apprenticeship and training action in the workplace (AFEST)
Some jobs are transmitted within the family circle, others are practiced at the end of an educational course, an internship in a company or after a Work-based learning. In the latter case, the process aims to develop or strengthen technical skills specific to the profession or branch.
There are several types of training to prepare the candidate for working life: in-company training itself, work-study programs, internships, etc. At the end of the training, the candidate is supposed to master the minimum bases of his profession. But jobs are evolving, and training must adapt accordingly. THEWork-based learning promotes the rapid immersion of the worker in the new environment of his job, without the need to go through theoretical training or a specific preparation phase.
THEWork-based learning focuses on the purely technical aspect, i.e. on the transfer or strengthening of new technical skills. It is one of the so-called “behavioral” skills that are however just as rewarding. These soft skills determine the development potential of the employee in his work environment and are key indicators of his performance.
The platform Fifty provides a relevant response to the need for assessment and strengthening of behavioral skills. Adapted to all professions, this eDoing tool helps the assimilation of good practices and change through actions and personalized courses by the A.I.
Work-based learning with Fifty
Our tool Fifty encourages individuals to acquire and improve certain behavioral skills (empathy, self-confidence, communication, etc.) in order to support and develop their career and the overall performance of their company. Following the concepts of Nudge, our approach is materialized by a series of micro-actions, individualized recommendations to be made on a daily basis.
