eDoing, from theory to practice
Achieving a professional goal with the help of a training action in a work situation
THEWorkplace Training Action or AFEST is a practical teaching modality that takes place in the workplace itself. It is intended for company employees in the course of activity, who are put into a real situation during the apprenticeship. The trainer thus exercises a tutorial function by helping the employee to reach a professional objective.
How does an AFEST take place?
One Workplace Training Action is organized into two sequences:
- learning through a work situation: this first sequence must be organized and well prepared. The apprentice thus has a work experience under the supervision of the trainer. The latter intervenes from the preparation phase: analysis of the activity and pedagogical adaptation, implementation of reflexive phases.
- the reflexive sequence: this session makes it possible to analyze the differences between the objective aimed at and the skills actually acquired during the simulation. To this end, it includes phases of evaluation of achievements and achievements, as well as phases of consolidation of learning.
In order to ensure the achievement of the objectives, it is necessary to repeat the two sequences as many times as necessary.
The company can use internal or external training, but in all cases, the apprenticeship must take place at the workplace and be organized within a pedagogical framework with a previously defined professional objective.
Note that AFEST concerns both permanent and fixed-term employees, and the tutoring function may very well be provided by a colleague.
As far as financing is concerned, only companies with less than 50 employees and those that have signed an membership agreement are eligible. In principle, the funding granted is 3000 euros excluding tax per employee, and per training action. AFEST can also be part of a continuing professional training program, and in this case, the employee could benefit from up to 5000 euros (excluding tax) in funding.
Fifty, the innovative platform similar to an AFEST
Our platform was developed to facilitate the improvement of the skills of company employees through technology. So you won't need a natural person to tutor. Your employees will be able to do it at their own pace with our solution. Based on Artificial Intelligence and the Nudge educational approach (a method that promotes beneficial behavior change without constraints or obligations), our innovative solution is similar to a Workplace Training Action. Indeed, it is a digital platform that offers micro-actions to be done on a daily basis in order to acquire new skills. Each learner can benefit from a unique path, because it is possible to individualize micro-actions thanks to AI. This is the eDoing approach.
In order to guarantee the performance of our offer and the achievement of the targeted objectives, we have taken care to design micro-actions relating to both business skills and human skills (soft skills).
Fifty therefore integrates the educational path, the mode of proof and cold reflexivity. On the other hand, it is possible to measure the change since it is quantified (challenges achieved, level reached, days left, etc.).
