eDoing, from theory to practice
AFEST or training action in a work situation
THEAFEST, for Action de Formation En Situation de Travail, complements existing systems with new methods allowing better integration of knowledge by candidates, in order to transform them into skills. In addition to technical skills, theAFEST can be adapted to the development of behavioral or human skills. How to improve your soft skills through AFEST? Fifty Take stock.
AFEST: the general framework
The Future Law of September 5, 2018 establishes new ways of learning in a professional environment. Thus, it is now possible to benefit from a AFEST alongside work-study programs and vocational training, regardless of the sector of activity, the size of the company or the profession. But what exactly do we mean by AFEST ?
For employers, AFEST allows a more realistic approach to vocational training with lower educational costs. In reality, it is a training course following a well-established structure and regulated by law. The implementation of this system also requires the intervention of a duly trained pair and compliance with strict procedures.
One AFEST will necessarily include work situations and several reflexive sequences distinct from productive activity. Post-training follow-up is also organized in order to consolidate the candidate's achievements.
Specifically concerning the reflexive phase, these constitute an interesting component in terms of skills acquisition. The reflexive phase refers to the moment when the learner takes a step back from his practice and analyzes his career path: how did he succeed? Why did it fail? Here, the technical and behavioral aspects are reviewed.
The soft skills training action proposed by Fifty focuses on improving behavioral skills, which are just as important as technical qualifications or skills. This training is based on digital technology and is similar to an AFEST, because it involves precise engineering.
Vocational training action: Fifty's eDoing approach
THEAFEST has significant advantages for both the company and the employee. This training action is considered by experts to be one of the best devices to facilitate the integration of the knowledge of candidates, who acquire or develop skills in the workplace.
AFEST also promotes the preservation of know-how and prevents employers from looking for suitable (and often expensive) external training courses. In order to optimize the impact of your Workplace Training Actions (AFEST), the platform Fifty supports your employees via a unique educational path based on Nudge theory.
Our approach focuses on improving so-called “behavioral” skills or soft skills, i.e. the personal qualities that differentiate an average worker from an effective collaborator. To do this, the platform Fifty draw up a list of actions to be done on a daily basis, which we have called “micro-actions” and which will then be individualized in order to establish a unique path thanks to AI.
Artificial intelligence has been used to develop personalized recommendations that focus on both technical and soft skills. Fifty was designed to fill the shortcomings of companies in terms of practical training in soft skills, vectors of sustainable performance and growth. This offer also benefits employees who see their field of expertise, and therefore opportunities, expanding.
