eDoing, from theory to practice

The tool that helps your employees move from good advice to action in the field. All in a measurable way.

Workplace training

eLearning combined with eDoing for the development of business skills

The eLearning is one of the ways of distance learning. It's all happening online. This method is preferred by companies that offer skills acquisition or development sessions to their employees. The eLearning makes learners real actors in their training, but in order not only to limit themselves to theoretical advice, it is now necessary to couple the approach with personalized actions to be carried out on a daily basis, through the concept of “eDoing”.

eLearning for skills development: principles and benefits

Nowadays, many companies and organizations include the development of skills in their strategy to optimize their human resources. Workshops, conferences, team building and incentives, but also traditional and online training courses are among the means implemented to improve the human skills of employees.

Online training or eLearning is one of the options currently favored by those who want to think outside the box in face-to-face training. The principle of this teaching method is based on that of distance learning, and is essentially based on the possibilities offered by digital technology and the Internet. The courses and exercises are put online on a dedicated platform and the learners select those that meet their needs and correspond to their objectives. The flexibility of the system is also the reason for its success. Everyone can evolve at the pace that suits them and all the necessary resources are just a click away.

The eLearning is preferred by companies in order to strengthen the skills of their employees. They can in fact have easy access to their “courses” and continue their learning without necessarily encroaching on working hours. Moreover, this practically self-taught method requires the personal involvement of the participants. They thus become actors in their success. In some cases, online training can be complemented by “learning by doing”, which allows learners to directly implement what they have learned, because “we retain much better through practice”.

Fifty makes eLearning evolve thanks to eDoing

We have developed an innovative approach in addition to eLearning: eDoing. This “innovation” will revolutionize online training, because instead of focusing on purely theoretical recommendations, we provide “good advice” to be carried out in real life on a specific theme.

Inspired by the pedagogical approach recommended by Richard Thaler's Nudge (Nobel Prize in Economics in 2017) and the work of Daniel Kahneman (also a Nobel laureate awarded in 2002), our system focuses on the involvement of the learner in achieving the goals he has set for himself. We also used artificial intelligence to maximize the benefits of this concept. In fact, we have developed an interface where “actions” are offered to employees in connection with their individual goals.

These small actions consist of actions or behaviors to adopt on a daily basis, according to the goals to be achieved. They are “individualized” by AI in order to offer everyone a personal journey to follow. The latter will include both actions for technical skills and achievements for soft skills, the final objective being to improve human skills, know-how and interpersonal skills.

Our process allows real-time monitoring of the progress made and the changes adopted along the way. The transformations noted will then allow the application Fifty to submit to each participant the appropriate actions at the right time.
