In her contribution to the “Why and how to assess the impact of training” dossier in the e-learning letter, Alexia Cordier (CEO and co-founder of Fifty) discusses:
• the two main developments that have accelerated questions related to the effectiveness of training,
• eDoing solutions to overcome the obstacles of traditional methods of evaluating training.
Excerpt:
“By transforming skills into micro-actions, measurable and time-bound, the learner is then able to objectively assess how many times he has succeeded in changing a given behavior.
Concretely, rather than evaluating a good practice, for example, “having an inclusive behavior by listening to everyone”, he will be able to determine if he has actually carried out the following action: 'At my next meeting, I am giving the floor again to a person who has been interrupted'.
Once anonymized and aggregated, all the learner evaluations carried out using this method make it possible to determine the level of implementation of a training program, and finally the changes made.”
