Workplace training

GPEC and skills development with Fifty

La GPEC is a mandatory step in order to anticipate the needs of the company in terms of human resources, and to deal effectively with competition and market developments. It includes a training component, ensuring the development of employees' skills in accordance with the requirements of the job and the needs of maintaining the employment of employees.

GPEC: what is it?

Predictive Management of Jobs and Skills or GPEC is an HR strategy whose objective is to plan the management of skills within the company, in order to anticipate its development in the medium term. It is therefore a question of forecasting the talents necessary for the future needs of society, and at the same time ensuring that employees remain employed in the years to come.

The organization of GPEC goes through several stages:

  • Diagnosis and evaluation: it is a question of carrying out an inventory of the company, by studying its operation, its projects and its strategy. At the same time, it is necessary to assess the skills available to it;
  • Projection and identification: it is about anticipating the evolution of the market in which the company operates, as well as the development of the labor market. Consequently, the necessary skills must be provided to deal with them;
  • Action plan: it is a question of applying the appropriate strategy following the previous steps: skills development, recruitment, organizational changes... The planning extends over 3 to 5 years.

Skills development is a main focus that should not be overlooked. It makes it possible both to anticipate the needs of the company and to make employees evolve to achieve new performances. La GPEC must therefore provide an adequate training program according to the profile of each employee, and set up an organization in accordance with the current skills development plan.

Fifty, a platform to make GPEC plans a reality through eDoing

The platform Fifty is a Workplace Training Action (AFEST). Equipped with specific engineering, it makes it possible to achieve the educational and professional objectives targeted while remaining in production. It is therefore an ideal tool to support a company's GPEC strategy.

The training offered on Fifty uses the Nudge approach. The aim of this method is to initiate positive changes without using coercion. Learning is thus seamless, ensuring the motivation and commitment of participants. In addition, the Action de Formation En Situation de Travail (AFEST) makes it possible to effectively and sustainably integrate new targeted technical and human skills.

Fifty consists of micro-actions to be carried out on a daily basis, but the list is not fixed. This is not standard content to be assimilated by everyone, but a personalized approach. Indeed, Fifty uses artificial intelligence in order to set up individualized courses according to the profile of each person.

The combination of Nudge and AI makes it possible to obtain concrete results, with quantifiable changes in real time at the individual as well as organizational levels (with anonymized results). As a result, businesses can successfully implement their plan GPEC, by offering employees an increase in real skills.
